The arithmetic, worked from the table above: 20,000 credits cost $240/year less here, and 85,000 cost $600/year less. Above that it stops being one-sided — their Professional tier is $799 for 250,000 against our $899 for 320,000, so the per-credit rate is better here ($2.81 vs $3.20) but the monthly bill is lower there if 250,000 is genuinely all you need. Past a million lookups a month their Enterprise rate of $2.00 per 1,000 beats anything we publish, and we'd rather say so than let you find out at renewal.
Is there a 1Lookup alternative with a free tier?
Yes — Boundstone's free tier is 250 credits a month, permanently, no card required. 1Lookup publishes no free tier; they offer a 7-day trial with $5 of credits on Starter (pricing re-checked 9 August 2026).
Does Boundstone cover the same lookup types as 1Lookup?
Mostly: email, IP and phone metadata validation are live, and live HLR (carrier, ported status, reachability) is now a paid opt-in at 5 credits. CNAM is still theirs, not ours yet. If you need CNAM today, 1Lookup is the working option.
